Note 1: There are five methods of investment, which consist of the following:
(1) investing in a PRC company by remittance through a third area;
(2) investing in and setting up a company in a third area, which in turn invests in a PRC company;
(3) investing in an existing company in a third area, which in turn invests in a PRC company;
(4) investing in a PRC company directly; and
(5) Others.
Note 2: Regarding the "investment profit/loss entered in this period" column:
(1) In case there is no investment profit/loss as yet as during the preparatory period of time, such shall be indicated as "0".
(2) The three bases for the entering of investment profits/losses are as follows
(i) The financial reports audited and certified by an international accounting firm in association with an ROC accounting firm;
(ii) The financial reports audited and certified by the accounting firm certifying the financial statements of the parent company in Taiwan; and
(iii) Others.
Note 3: All figures herein shall be indicated in New Taiwan Dollars.
