Episode # 05 - Suspecting. Suspecting that there was a swindle - Emails # 24 - 26

After the month passed settled down by Mr. Etchegaray so that AIPTEK responded about his Preliminary Business Plan without having not even received a minimum comment in this respect from AIPTEK, Mr. Etchegaray begins to suspect on the real intentions of Mr, Vincent Luo.
During the whole month of February of 2005, Mr. Etchegaray sends to Mr. Luo 3 emails separated by 15 days each one, of which he never receives any answer.

The last of these emails, thinking that some problem could exist with the Mail Server of Aiptek, is sent to a series of employees of AIPTEK and co-workers of Mr. Vincent Luo, with the hope that some of them was received and Mr. Luo was notified.

Independently of the fact that direct answers were never received, Mr. Etchegaray always received the electronic acknowledgements of receipt of this whole correspondence. This situation began to generate suspicions, beginning to appear the first features of swindler's profile and rude that until then, Mr. Luo had never shown.

Content :

QUOTE: “Dear Vincent: I don’t know what is happen with my previous emails. Please, I need to have some news from you as soon as possible. Please, answer me if you has readed my work, and give me your opinion. I am waiting for your answer to take some decissions to next February, when I must define my future projects. Thanks again and kind regards.” UNQUOTE

 Comments :

This is the first reiteration of the previous email dated January 25th, 2004. Mr. Etchegaray (ECA - Uruguay) insist reiterating the concepts of the previous email again, so that Mr. Vincent Luo (AIPTEK) understands the urgency that Mr. Etchegaray has to program his 2005 Professional Activity.
This unusual answer lack and discourtesy, establish the beginning of an unfair business practice from AIPTEK toward Mr. Etchegaray (ECA - Uruguay) that later on, one will also be able to observe at corporate level in their main executives.

From this moment, Mr. Etchegaray will begin to suspect that he was victim of an abuse and deceit from AIPTEK, with the objective of obtaining valuable and strategic Latin America marketing information without paying for it, using as lure the promises of hiring several additional consultancy works formulated in the dated email that later on won't never honor.

One will also be able to observe that the different spokesman that AIPTEK designates to negotiate with Mr. Etchegaray (ECA - Uruguay), systematically will miss its word and they won't never complete not even the promises that themselves outlines.

Mr. Vincent Luo, neither never answered this second email reiteration.

Nevertheless it, that certainly I have very clear is that you should send me an answer with your comments hardly receive this email, to maintain the image of serious first line company, since I think that an International Executive can not make these discourtesies.” UNQUOTE.

 Comments :

The answer lack to my two previous emails, and as I have the necessity to organize my activity, since I supposed that my work "Preliminary Business Plan" already have been evaluate, and feeling a lack of absolute courtesy toward my organization, I send this email to different members of the organization of AIPTEK, so that they get the attention about this matter or possibly, somebody explains to me what is happening with our work. I have not receive any answer to this third email.

I write at the end of this email :QUOTE: “As I refuse to believe that after the work that I have taken, you have not even had the fineness of answering, neither none of your partners in the company, I insist re-sending that email again, after this time.
I have some experience working with Asian southeasterly companies, and I know that they are extremely formal and respectful companies of the other ones.
Therefore, I cannot understand that it has happened. I will thank you a lot that you respond me to the brevity, with your comments.
Attentive greetings.” UNQUOTE.

 Comments :

After the answer lack at my three (3) previous emails, I refuse to think that this is an act of discourtesy, but rather some serious communication problem should exist. I insist again.
One week after this email, Mr. Etchegaray (ECA - Uruguay) will receive an amazing answer signed by Vincent Luo (AIPTEK - Taiwan). The first answer of 4 emails along 70 days.
